Editorial & Corrections
Effective and last reviewed: September 26, 2026
Our process starts with a user task, not a keyword quota. Seasonal claims are checked against organizer, venue or ticket-seller sources and receive a review date. We separate confirmed facts, historical evidence, editorial inference and unknowns. Comparisons explain their criteria; guides include a worked case and limitations. The accountable publisher is Holly Jolly Christmas Bar Guide.
How this applies
Automation and AI tools may assist with drafting, code and clearly labeled editorial illustrations. Material facts are reviewed against cited sources and unsupported claims are removed. We do not invent visits, quotes, credentials or testing. Corrections that change meaning are updated on the page. Send the URL, proposed correction and first-party evidence to server@hollyjollychristmasbar.com.
Source hierarchy
We prefer organizer and venue pages for current facts, followed by official ticket pages and authoritative local reporting. Search snippets, social reposts and undated roundups can point to a lead but do not independently establish a current run. Each seasonal record shows a check date and avoids unsupported precision.
Five value checks
A qualifying article must be written for a U.S. reader, make important claims traceable, include a concrete case or worked scenario, explain editorial tradeoffs and name an accountable publisher. Length alone does not pass the review. A page that cannot add standalone value remains out of the sitemap or is merged into a stronger destination.
Reviews and recommendations
We do not claim first-hand attendance unless it actually occurred and is documented. Current launch content is method-led, not a venue ranking. If reviews are added later, the selection method, visit or testing basis, costs, conflicts and material limitations must be disclosed on the page.
Corrections
A reader or operator can submit the exact URL, disputed claim and current first-party evidence. We correct material errors and update the page date when the substance changes. Minor grammar fixes do not receive a false freshness signal. Removed claims are not silently replaced with a guess.
Images and presentation
Every published guide receives a unique subject-specific representative image. Generated illustrations are labeled, historical materials are identified, and unrelated web images are not copied into the publication. Layout and headlines are designed to clarify the reader task, not to disguise advertising or overstate an event.
Indexing decisions
Tier A pages are complete, canonical and useful as standalone results. Filter states and weak or uncertain records remain noindex or unpublished. Duplicate spellings and close variants are merged into the page that solves the shared intent. We do not create city pages without unique local evidence or redirect unrelated retired topics to the homepage.
